What a validation password does

Many Busy setups add a second password on validation screens. This stops junior staff from turning off GST, party, or bill checks. If the person who set it has left, the owner still needs those screens. The company may open as normal, but the validation settings stay locked.

How we help

We confirm you own the company. We take a data copy. Then we return access to the validation options. We do not remove validation. After this, you can set a new password and keep it with the owner, not with only one staff member.

How to keep it safe

Write the new password in an owner record. Use validation to block incomplete GST ledgers. Do not share this password on a WhatsApp group.

Is this the same as company login?

No. Company login opens the books. The validation password only locks the extra rule screens.

Will my validation rules be deleted?

No. We unlock the settings. You can edit the rules after that.
